Yay!

I got really bored with this game despite how amazing it is. Pretty much you make your guy and you're like woah I look cool! Then you spend the next 3 hours throwing things off of mountains.

it has grown stale. bethesda's achilles heel is that the greatness of their games relies heavily on their newness, if you will, the thrill of wandering around a totally alien land where you can do essentially whatever you want. once that thrill wears off its a lot of fast traveling and a lot of kill X and retrieve Y and bring it back to Z.

fortunately, their DLC is usually awesome (horse armor notwithstanding) so i'm eagerly awaiting the first expansion.

It's really what you make of it. If you spend all your time throwing people off mountains you will get bored quickly. If you use a little imagination, pretend people aren't as stupid as they are and try and do quests in interesting ways it stays fresh longer.

As with all entertainment it doesn't last forever, but if you're creative it can last a long time. And honestly as many hours as people waste on this game you should be happy it only absorbed three hours of your life.

I'm 240 hours into it. Yes.

I was going nuts with it for a while, but as pineapple juicer said, it's started to taper off. I lost a lot of motivation to do much in the game after finishing the (surprisingly short compared to morrowind/oblivion) main campaign, and once I started the theive's guild quest to tail someone, got spotted by him, then continued to proceed normally walking alongside him since stealth isn't actually required, at all, to do the missions, I kind of moved on to another game. I'll probably pick it up again if someone as awesome as Shivering Isles comes along for it.

Skyrim is one of those games where you can cheat yourself out of enjoying it. If you spend hours buying leather and grinding your smithing skill so you can get armor and weapons way before you're supposed to and then complain that the game is too easy and boring you should probably just stop playing videogames.

yeah, would've been a lot more fun to hack up Khajiits if you could get totally blitzed afterwards.

That's the same for any fandom. MLP having one of the largest and most active fandoms on the internet is going to produce a lot of weird and creepy shit.
