WARNING: Smoking can cause you to make a lousy Indiana Jones film.

I love the insightful commentary delivered with stroke-guy humor.
That said, the TV being destroyed by masturbation went on a tad too long, and was probably a bad idea in the first place.

George Lucas is the Newt Gingrich of film-writing.

Mostly on target, though I think there is more to Indiana Jones than a hat and a jacket. I wouldn't be happy with a Batman movie unless Bruce Wayne were to occasionally get into the Batman costume, but that doesn't mean the costume is all I like. (My favorite scenes in "The Dark Knight" all involved Bruce Wayne minus the costume, in fact.)

Bort - 2011-12-24 The scenes I liked:
1) Any scene with Bruce and Alfred talking, particularly the one where Bruce said he was going to tell the authorities the whole "Batman" thing was Alfred's idea. Those are the only times we see Bruce as himself.
2) Bruce Wayne grappling with a thug, grasping his shotgun, and working it until there was a mess on the ground.

memedumpster - 2011-12-24 Harrison Ford can act, and the Indiana Jones getup doesn't look ill fitting and embarrassing.

How did he become known as "Stroke Guy" on here, anyway?
|
Aelric - 2011-12-24 from the first few videos. It was before there was this mythos established with the serial killer/rapist junk and he was just a reviewer with a droopy slur, thus, stroke victim. Also, I can't remember but I think the first video or two did actually say he had a stroke.
|
Bort - 2011-12-24 Look at early "Star Trek" reviews: he doesn't identify himself as Harry Plinkett, or if he does he does it only in passing. At the time he was more identifiable as that guy who sounds like he had a stroke and does movie reviews.
|
Bort - 2011-12-24 Goddamn, Aelric, beat me by just seconds I think.

I have got to see Andy Richter's Lenny the Wonder Dog. According to imdb it also features Michael Winslow, has a character named "Fartman", and Craig Ferguson plays a mad scientist. Sounds high quality.

I really hated the movie and I'm glad to have my subconscious repulsion laid out with such great detail.
