HarrietTubmanPI - 2011-11-13 I have never had a gun safety course. Yet, I've been around conservatives and gun owners who have had safety courses. I seem to be the only one with enough sense to know that:
* You do not look down the barrel of a loaded weapon, or any weapon unless you check to see if it's loaded first.
* You do not point any gun, loaded or unloaded, at anyone, unless you intend to kill them
* Gun safes are meant to be closed periodically, and not left open all the time for 10 year olds to play with its contents
* The safety on a gun is meant for a reason, and is meant to actually be used
* Guns are not toys. The only use for a gun is to kill or seriously injure another human being or an animal. You do not use one to compensate for a small penis. You do not play with them. You do not use them because you have fantasies of overthrowing the government and being the head of a new imperial republic
* You do not put your gun in the antlers of a freshly killed buck to see what the antlers would look like as a gun rack because that buck is actually not dead and when running off drops the weapon which fires at you
I've seen conservatives violate just about every single one of these, in person, except the last one, which was a story I heard from someone who hunts. I don't hunt.
