Yes, because on a public access show where the callers routinely say the dumbest, most jaw-droppingly moronic things ever uttered and expect to be taken seriously, the hosts are "trolled" when politely assuming a caller is being earnest.

To be fair, I have encountered people, in person, who have had, in all earnesty, far more offensive and blindingly stupid opinions. There are people that fully agree with this troll, completely and without doubt.

This is a clip from a show where people who are almost immune to reason frequently call in. You can't criticize them for being successfully trolled, when so many people have called in with even less reasonable assertions that they have defended until the bloody end.

Growing up Catholic, I actually heard a lot of those arguments this troll espoused legitimately presented to me, including that it's impossible for a woman being raped to get pregnant, because their body naturally produces anti-pregnancy hormones during the rape. No, I'm not shitting you, they really said that!
