Coming soon: Seal Team 6 to kill everyone in this video.

Cena_mark - 2011-06-17

The man isn't an innocent political prisoner. He's committed crimes against many nations and has threatened our national security as well as the safety of my brothers in arms.

Innocent Bystander - 2011-06-17

SO GUN 'IM DOWNNNN!

augias - 2011-06-17

"Exposing crimes is a crime."

memedumpster - 2011-06-17

This man is a planet-scale hero, and has gone a long way to cancel out some of the damage done to our fragile mob tendencies by Osama bin Laden. He may be the only human to impact the world for a positive outcome on a level with bin Laden's impact in making us all shittier.

He killed bin Laden long before we put holes in the corpse and called it Mission Accomplished. Any nation that calls him an enemy is the enemy of the world.

memedumpster - 2011-06-17

Oh, wait, just saw the Macbook in the preload, no, we need to gun this fucker down right now.

Scrotum H. Vainglorious - 2011-06-17

I'm sure the grunts on the ground in Afghanistan and Iraq don't consider you or anyone else in the Coast Guard to be their brothers in arms.

simon666 - 2011-06-17

Cena, I know you're just trolling, but for sake of conversation let us remember in the US one is innocent before proven guilty by a jury of one's peers.

You could say, Assange has been alleged to have committed crimes, however, that statement is too strong since he hasn't been charged with any crimes.

But lets say, forsake of argument, if Assange has committed some crimes, can we then let Bradley Manning go? You know, since the case is closed, and Assange is the criminal...

Cena_mark - 2011-06-18

Simon, I really don't like this guy. I'm not trolling. Sure he hasn't been charged yet, but the man is very open in talking about the crimes he's committed. Remember Bradley Manning doesn't have the same rights as you. Just like me he agreed to be governed by the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and has pretty much screwed himself in aiding Assange.
Scrotum, trust me though we do rag on each other I we are still on the same awesome team.
Augias, what crimes? Collateral damage does occur in wars. We're fighting a war it happens. I know it sounds callous, but that's reality. Fortunately the U.S. does care about reducing collateral damage, and our technology has been doing that.

Bradley Manning committed treason, plain and simple; Julian Assange runs a whistleblower website that disseminates information and promotes freedom of speech and governmental transparency.
Assange pretty much does what he always does--and that is to piss off world governments, especially the US.

Manning is a treasonous cunt who should be beaten with thorny rods on cave treacle. However, I seriously doubt he's being tortured in Leavenworth.

Assange, however, is far from a hero--I remember on the PBS Frontline Documentary on the Wikileaks scandal Assange was extremely reluctant censor or remove the cables that contained sensitive information on various agents translators that if that information was made public it would put their lives at risk; I think he said something along the lines of 'they must also be implicated; they are at fault, too'.

If that really is the case, then it makes Assange look less like a hero of free speech and more like another anti-American cuntbag with an axe to grind.

dancingshadow - 2011-06-18

Painful levels of stupid here.

Baron_Von_Bad_Beaver - 2011-06-18

Yeah, I guess you're right here.

Nominal - 2023-08-12

Wow did these pro-Assange posts age really bad.

spikestoyiu - 2011-06-17

Does he have an Amazon wishlist?

kwash - 2011-06-17

CORPORATE GOD KING

decoy - 2011-06-17

This is just a clusterfuck. Assange is a scumbag narcissist penisface for leaking with reckless abandon and the western gubments (especially UK) are clearly now, if they weren't well before, Big Bro fully realized.

MrBuddy - 2011-06-18

Would someone please give me some government secrets to leak so I could live in a mansion in the English countryside were all I have to do is drive to a police station and sign my name once a day, instead of living in a tiny, inner city house in the US and having drive to my job through rush hour traffic and work 8 hours each day?

Cena_mark - 2011-06-18

Seriously people are acting like we're torturing him or something. He's on easy street as opposed to Manning who is probably very unhappy in Ft. Leavenworth. Plus Assange gets to be a media darling by the anti American liberals out there.
