Heyyyy man, Erasure, just because Andy Bell is openly gay, isn't "homosexual." Vince Clark is married and straight and there's nothing intrinsically gay about synthpop music, despite the sexual orientation of the members of the Pet Shop Boys and several others popular in the genre.
I mean, Andy Bell and Erasure aren't even as, for lack of a better word, flaming as Jimmy Somerville (Bronski Beat/Communards), Holly Johnson (Frankie Goes to Hollywood), Marc Almond (Soft Cell), or those terribly gaudy Man Parrish videos (IE: John Sex - Rock Your Body).
But, because of Robot Unicorn whatever that game was, everyone on the internet thinks it's fun to use them as an example whenever they need to make fun of gay people.

I agree, Jet Bin. I was just using Erasure for the sake of brevity and Internet short hand. I'm an almost-fan of theirs (I tend to like their singles).
