The author Robert Fisk was the middle east correspondant for the independant and later the times and was based in Beirut for over 30 years
I havent seen any louis theroux stuff in years, It seems hes moved from doing interesting stuff on various "wacky" stuff in america to dealing with extremely controversial issues, he seems to have gotten more serious, have ye seen the paedophile one?

I loved how crazy Australian dude said that if Jews don't stay in the paradise of Israel then their only other choice would be to "go back to the ovens of Auschwitz or the coast of Australia" as if those two things were somehow the same. The guy's got hyperbole down to a fine art.
