Oh, there's definitely a pot/kettle/black thing going on here, and the demo makes Bulletstorm seem fucking moronic even by Duke Nukem 3D standards, but I had to submit this for 500 SHEETS OF WIDE RULE LOOSE LEAF PAPER ADDED TO INVENTORY alone.

I dunno, I had a little fun with the demo just because I could take more than 2 hits before going down. I totally agree with WWD though, I'm really sick of all these third person cover shooters. I'm still disappointed that seems to be the route Mass effect's going in.

Same with Crysis 2. You can fucking bet I'll pirate a game to try it if you're not putting a demo out. Even a genuine customer is then contributing to piracy due to torrent uploads. Makes perfect goddamn sense.

Crysis was never a game that people play for fun anyway. All it ever was was a tool to show off your computer with. Don't know why people are getting so riled over a sequel.

The only shooter I've had more fun with in the last 5 years was STALKER:SoC. Crysis was an amazingly fun romp for the first 3/4ths until some of the alien bits and even those with the suit powers were more entertaining than the generic gray slop of modern shooter games. I've always thought that people who hated Crysis either wrote it off as a gimmick having never played it (likely due to having shit computers) or tried to play it as Gears of Modern Ops without using any of the suit powers.

But that's just like my opinion, man.
