The important and under-reported thing about her is that she's a Hispanic actress who has noticeably dark skin, yet it's almost always photoshopped as white as possible on movie posters and in promo photos.

Her press kit even intentionally downplays the Hispanic thing.

I'm guessing the authors of that page are less likely old dudes and more likely boring tweens who watch the show and want something to OMG about.

Still, it makes the reams of comic book minutia on tvtropes seem like a compelling read. So I guess it's pretty evil.

To be fair, this is what these networks probably want. Not to this extreme, but the sex. Disney and Nickelodeon make shows with sexy, young starlets and push them into the limelight for male attention. Dan Schneider from Nick is pretty bad at this. He's now notorious for getting cute young girls like Miranda Cosgrove and Victoria Justice and putting them and their secondary characters in sexual situations of some sort. And he is a massive foot fetishist and involves feet in any way possible. To kids, this is just funny but to adults, it's a fetish and Jay Herrod is the type of audience that gets.

I hear you, Mother Puncher. Sure it's great, at first, to see all those sexy, cute, young starlets in various sexual situations on your favorite children's network--but then you realize: if children start losing their innocence too early, will pedophilia still be worth it? Like, what's the point, you know?

That's not what I'm saying at all. Good job.

Mother Puncher: I remember seeing an episode of Kenan and Kel once where the nerdy white supermarket manager was talking about taking his mother to have her feet scraped. Later on he brought a bag of her foot scrapings to work and I think somebody mistook it for parmesan and ate it.

That was...pretty damn weird.
