5 stars for evilllllllll.

I WON'T ACCEPT THEIR ATTEMPT AT A PEACE OFFERING.

Quad9Damage - 2010-11-13

This looks really cute. I may end up seeing it out of nostalgia.

Plus it's hand-drawn, which is a plus.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-11-13

It's something for children that doesn't involve animation so annoying and revolting that I want to yell at people. 5 stars.

Comatose2 - 2010-11-13

This...doesn't offend me.

baleen - 2010-11-14

Well... I guess I'll see it. I don't know. I'll probably hate it. Or it will hate me... whatever...

Shanghai Tippytap - 2010-11-13

What? No record scratch followed by "Everybody dance now" and a montage of the new hip-hop-inspired reimaginings of the characters?

CharlesSmith - 2010-11-13

You're like a decade late for that shit. Nostalgia is the new Extreme.

themilkshark - 2010-11-13

Lame is the new cool

Xenocide - 2010-11-13

They're saving that for the second trailer, where they reveal that Miley Cyrus is doing the voice of Kanga and the story revolves around them having to get to New York City in time for her big singing audition.

Simon Cowell cameos as The Very Judgmental Stuffed Porcupine.

themilkshark - 2010-11-13

I hope it has lots of innuendo and pop culture references.

Quad9Damage - 2010-11-13

If there were any they'd be in the trailer.

fedex - 2010-11-13

true

thirteen3seven - 2010-11-13

Wait, this isn't a "Shining"-esque parody trailer? This really is the official trailer? Goddamn.

Five stars for that.

Xenocide - 2010-11-13

I would honestly go see this just to get a big-screen look at those backgrounds. This looks like it'll be a gorgeous film. And the song choice is basically saying "you're going to see this out of nostalgia. We both know it, so why kid ourselves?" Stars for honesty.

Bonus stars for the words "in 3-D!" never appearing in this trailer.

fedex - 2010-11-13

"if you can't make it good, make it 3D!"

looks like they made it good, and it's quite amazing that in 2011 they seem to have stayed especially faithful to the original material.

memedumpster - 2010-11-13

I... what.... who made... huh!?

Why doesn't this look terrible!?

Foux du Fafa - 2010-11-13

A couple of weeks ago I was sitting on my couch with my girlfriend and she said "Ah, I gotta get up." To which I started singing the theme song to Winnie The Pooh. She joined in too. However, we both didn't realize what we were singing until we got to the chorus. We both stopped singing immediately out of embarrassment.

StanleyPain - 2010-11-13

If this turns out as good as it looks, it will make up for most of that "Pooh Corner" atrocity Disney subjected us to. (you know, the one with the disembodied puppets and garage production values)

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-11-13

and the redheaded girl who replaced Christopher Robin while he was in Nam.

jreid - 2010-11-13

Here's some of that to keep the E in PoE (lest we forget that Disney loves shitting on classics):

MacGyver Style Bomb - 2010-11-13

In all seriousness, these stories have always been a part of my family, so at least my young niece will get a chance to enjoy it.

EightFlyingCars - 2010-11-13

I was waiting for a BLAM!

Jet Bin Fever - 2010-11-13

This was genuinely good. The Keane song reminds me of going to England back in 2004 and the first time I fell in love.

ahh...

twinkieafternoon - 2010-11-13

If I had a child, I would totally take them to see this.
