So many distortions in so little time.. that has to be a record.

baleen - 2010-11-02

It's telling that the Fox junkie who posted this on his channel has disabled every possible means of communicating, commenting, and rating his videos and opinions. Typical conservative really.

facek - 2010-11-01

...did she just say "News People"?

kingarthur - 2010-11-01

she's implying, unsubtle as possible, that FOX is "real" news people.

Pardon me while I piss myself laughing.

I couldn't make it past 3:13 in this. My new policy is to just not listen to this kind of bullshit anymore.

facek - 2010-11-01

I mean what the fuck is a "News Person" does she mean an anchor? a journalist? a reporter? Obviously Fox's lawyers have advised them not to refer to themselves as any of these.

Meerkat - 2010-11-01

Only news people are supposed to hold rallies.

Hammer Falls - 2010-11-02

"News person" is to Fox as "sports entertainment" is to wrestling.

cognitivedissonance - 2010-11-01

So many foxes, so few friends.

kamlem - 2010-11-01

So comedians can't try to be news people , but news people can try to be comedians. But FOX news that fails to be news can also fail to be comedians. It all make kind of a soothing sense...

Louis Armstrong - 2010-11-01

Big Boobs McGee is Right! He did look nice in that suit.

Yellow Lantern - 2010-11-01

"Cat Stevens has got a new name now..."

So, 1977 counts as "now"?

citrusmirakel - 2010-11-02

That was the part that got to me most. Also, when they try to bring up the Salman Rushdie fatwa, but, knowing absolutely nothing about the subject, they just summarize with "What's THAT about!?"

They're not stupid. Or at least, not this stupid. They wanted to present a certain image for personal and ideological reasons. And that's... that's just really frustrating.

dek863 - 2010-11-01

Christ almighty.

:40. Where in that clip Steve is talking about did Stewart say anything about voting? I'm really confused.

Binro the Heretic - 2010-11-01

"...put on by comedians, which many people unfortunately think are news people..."

Well, being a comedian that some people think of as a news person beats the Hell out of being a clueless cunt who thinks she's a news person.

Hooker - 2010-11-01

Even the most outrageous misanthrope that believes everyone everywhere is a moron would have to agree that the Fox'n'Friends trio somehow sets the bar lower than the rest.

Oscar Wildcat - 2010-11-01

And judging from the video clip, I'd say the rally didn't work.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-11-01

How dare he defend sanity!

Old_Zircon - 2010-11-01

In wish I could have made it to this. I played a really good show that night, but damn.

Space Helicopter - 2010-11-01

The first line of description is, 'These clowns should stick to their day job.'

If it stopped there, I'd have thought he was talking about Fox & Friends. then I realized, this is their day job.

Also, adding comments has been disabled for this video.

FABIO - 2010-11-01

So morning zoo radio hosts don't count as comedians?

Stopheles - 2010-11-01

Bear in mind that Glenn Beck (who Fox is happy to call an entertainer, not a newsman, whenever he's caught in a bigoted falsehood) bused people to his rally.

Also, one more time: FUCK YOU, STEVE DOOCY, FOR TRYING TO KEEP ME FROM MEETING IAN DURY WHEN I WAS A PRE-SCHOOLER.

Yellow Lantern - 2010-11-01

Is there a story there?

Stopheles - 2010-11-01

Oprah sent all sorts of people.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2010-11-01

Cut to: clip of Jon Stewart defending teabaggers, Juan Williams, and Rick Sanchez from charges of racism.

Cut to: Steve Ducey complaining about how some people brought signs "dumping on the right". I saw some signs that poked fun at the right. God, these guys are pussies.

Are we really surprised that Fox News feels threatened by call to dial down the anger and divisiveness in partisan politics? No, we do not. Fox news does not care about America. No reason to give up hate and fear when it's working so well, even if it's poisoning our national life.

Last week, after watching people get beat up on you tube and reading the online comments of those who seemed to cheer the violence on I really thought that I would surrender to despair. Jon Stewart can take a lot of the credit for the fact that I feel better, and prepared to handle what's supposed to be coming tomorrow in good spirits.

Buggerman - 2010-11-01

I love the hostile and ominous circling of the Fox News van and the slapping of cameras THAT WAS TOTALLY CAUGHT ON TAPE but sadly couldn't be shown.

Also, didn't the tea party call themselves tea baggers? I recall seeing some hilarious protest signs to the tune of "TEABAG FOR JESUS" etc.

Plus you gotta love Gretchen's amnesia on Colbert's name. "and... whats the other guys name?" her smile spits acid poison at me through my computer screen.

Macho Nacho - 2010-11-01

Unbelievable.

And what was with that guy, I forgot his name, but talked about people circling the FOX News van and saying how they wanted it to explode. Was this some kind of strange subtle reference to the Anonymous FOX News report they did that featured an exploding van?

Also, I like how he says he has video footage of this, but doesn't show said footage but instead show people with smiles on their faces holding up signs, along with commentary how everyone was practically insane there.

Hammer Falls - 2010-11-02

The fact that The Daily Show and The Colbert Report have taken Fox and Friends to task so many times and this is the rather inept way they chose to get revenge the one time they could directly talk about something Stewart and Colbert did is delicious.
Oh, she knows Colbert's name, all right, she knows...

sjohnson301 - 2010-11-02

So Colbert & Stewart are not "news people", but a former Miss America Pageant Queen considers herself one? http://www.missamerica.org/our-miss-americas/1980/1989.aspx

Random - 2010-11-02

I love Fox and Friends! I watch it every morning while waiting to die in the nursing home I live in.

IrishWhiskey - 2011-05-05

Better to be comedians than a joke.

The Mothership - 2013-03-03

amazing.
