White Trash Party - 2010-10-22

Wow. I don't know what's more disturbing. The actual outfits she designed or the fact that an 11 year old is wearing THAT.

i'm with frank - 2010-10-22

i'm conflicted, am i meant to give stars on the merit of videos or by the amount i want those involved to be burnt by fire? are there any fashion designer children fire related videos?

Lazer Chachi - 2010-10-22

5 child designers in fires.

i'm with frank - 2010-10-22

it took me 30 seconds but i got there, these are yours.

baleen - 2010-10-22

Something tells me this is probably creepy-funny, but it won't play for me. I've tried 3 different browsers.

IrishWhiskey - 2010-10-22

Its not browsers, its flash and pop-up blockers. Chrome and Firefox both ran this on open settings.

So back to the point: some tiny tart's mother pushed her into making "designs" based on popular movie trends. The depressed mother beat her daughter until the six year old remembered to pretend to be a shallow mom, pretending to be a six year old. pretending to follow GQ.

Evil doesn't even begin to describe it.

spikestoyiu - 2010-10-22

The video isn't really loading for me, either, but I saw an article about this girl somewhere else. Does she explicitly mention the mother pushing her into this?

RocketBlender - 2010-10-22

"With the help and support and encouragement of her mom, turned her love of clothes into..."

This video is on the right portal, that's for certain.

spikestoyiu - 2010-10-22

Eh. *Without having watched the video*, I'm not convinced this is really evil. I can't tell you how many outrageous goals I had when I was eleven. Talk show host, comedian, comic book artist, etc. Obviously all terrible ideas, but I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility to think that this was the little girl's idea and for whatever stupid reason, with her parent's backing, it worked out. Well, if you consider this "worked out".

CharlesSmith - 2010-10-22

*I haven't seen the video* but I have lots of opinions about it, and I'm so interesting that I can't let a little thing like my total ignorance on the matter stop me.

spikestoyiu - 2010-10-22

Just stating an opinion. Sorry I didn't immediately just assume her parents are some sort of failures that pushed her into this in order to realize some long-lost dreams. Get off my dick, you black faggot.

RocketBlender - 2010-10-22

This wasn't her parent's backing. It was more her parents forcing her into it, and the talk show host calling it a tale of encouragement. Just like how my parents 'encouraged' me to take ritalin.

Anaxagoras - 2010-10-22

Point: You weren't supposed to assume anything either way, Spike. You're supposed to just keep your mouth shut when you're totally ignorant.

Counterpoint: this is the Internet.

urbanelf - 2010-10-22

This accent is the Southwestern American stupid bratty bitch par excellence.

pastorofmuppets - 2010-10-22

Would you wear this to school?

Probally.

sosage - 2010-10-22

I'm letting you keep the dresses. You like that?

YEAH! WOW!

She is also letting you keep the dresses.

oh. thanks. (bitch)

PhunkThisNoise - 2010-10-22

I hate everything in this video, especially the kids.

Five stars.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-10-22

I love the pan shot over the audience where you can see the straight dudes who were dragged to this who look like they want to shoot themselves and everyone that created this monstrosity.

Scynne - 2010-10-22

The one the asian girl had was the best one. Kinda pulled off the creepy hipster vibe.

KillerGazebo - 2010-10-22

What the FUCK

Udderdude - 2010-10-22

That's not a smile, or a grin. That's a vacuous maw of terror.

Seris - 2010-10-22

it is

the BEST face

Stopheles - 2010-10-22

So basically, we're at a point wherein our desperation for celebrity status intersects with our general loss of skillsets common to our parents' and grandparents' generations that any child who can use a sewing machine to make a scrunch and a tube dress is a FASHION DESIGNER?

Does this meant that my son, who helped me grow tomato plants this summer before he turned 2, is a PRODIGY HORTICULTURALIST?

Udderdude - 2010-10-22

Sure why not

frau_eva - 2010-10-22

Okay, listen, there's letting your daughter follow her dreams and then there's LETTING A FIVE YEAR OLD USE A SEWING MACHINE. She's lucky she didn't sew her damn hand. Not to mention the fact that all little girls basically have the same fashion tastes, which is basically that of a tiny drag queen.

When I was ten, I was convinced that I had written a sci-fi epic on par with Star Wars and dreamed of being a child prodigy director. Thank God my parents didn't have the economic and social backing(or just had common sense) enough to make my retarded dreams a reality.

astropod five - 2010-10-22

I used a sewing machine when I was 5, but not by myself.

kennydra - 2010-10-22

Christ I know she's only 11 but what the fuck did those outfits have to do with that room? Terrible.

Stopheles - 2010-10-22

They had pink and animal-print fabrics. It was obviously a stretch for an eleven-year-old girl to be able to find something to do with such narrow parameters.

Adham Nu'man - 2010-10-22

It takes most white, upper middle class women 30 to 40 years to become so insufferable and boring, but you're already up there with the best. Congrats, kid.

chumbucket - 2010-10-22

to be like this at 11 means that by 20 she'll have evolved into a puppy torturing vampiress who drives a lexus

TeenerTot - 2010-10-22

It's like somebody shrank Fran Drescher.
