He's not a politician? He answers questions exactly like a politician.

ProfessorChaos - 2010-10-08

He answered a question? Were we watching the same video?

EXACTLY

That was pretty nuts, but I think Maddow could have done better by letting the man talk more. Let him hang himself by his own crazy rope.

I think it's in the second part of this, but she does ask at one point if he's done satellite interviews before because of the inherent brief transmission delay, which he really does seem to be oblivious to (and even refutes the existence of towards the end, essentialy claiming there's no delay because of the speed of light).

Rachel (Oh beautiful Rachel) needs to employ a mute button just so she can get a word in edgewise.

That said, I'm loving this guy. I think more political figures need to have some mad scientist credentials. I can totally see this guy in office sewing people together in the name of Karmic Dynamics.

What a weasel. So who *doesn't* think he's being backed by a forestry conglomerate?

The CU vs. FEC decision on its own is scary, but this is worse: anonymous donations being misused* to secretly bankroll someone that's publicly pro-corporate/anti-environmental. They know the public won't go for it (yet)... disgusting, all around.

* My understanding is that they're supposed be for specific issues, not running the same stupid "boo, Pelosi" ad, but if I'm wrong feel free to call me an ass.

This can only help his campaign, though.

CLENCH-JAWED ANGER!

I previously respected ol' Rachel. Now I'm in love with her.

I didn't know CalTech gave degrees back in the 1870s.

Well Robinson does have a point about needing something to counteract De Fazio's deep pockets. How a man can own such a poorly-run business like the Pizza Bowl AND run for office AT THE SAME TIME can not be explained without some outside funding.

Plus I think his daughter's a lesbo. Just sayin'...
