Pretty insidious subliminal marketing for them to use the Girl Scouts logo.

I was just thinking that. Interesting box of cookies, that.

Kinda chewy.

Remember: A committee decided that "Rely" was a reassuring brand name.

It also has a unique shape. Is it penis? READ THE PACKAGE (it's penis.)

I was going to make a similar joke, but yours is better. Here you go.

Well yeah but I remember that time in history, we had all kinds of dangerous products. If you ever find some sealed product from 1978 you can pretty much assume it contains at least 2 chemicals now banned by the UN and the package it comes in is sharp or gives off carcinogenic fumes plus there's something subtly racist or sexist on the garish label.

Hey, what's this about? I guess I'll hop over to Wikipedia real quick.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rely_tampons

"The superabsorbent properties of Rely caused vaginal dryness by absorbing the natural humidity of the vagina. Often this led to ulcerations in the vaginal wall when the tampon was removed, offering pathways for bacteria to infect the bloodstream.[1] Further, the tampons' superabsorbency meant that the viscosity of vaginal fluids was enhanced, providing a good environment for bacteria growth.[2] In addition, carboxymethylcellulose has features which effectively filter the toxins of Staphylococcus which cause TSS.[1]..."

Should've named them THE VAGINATOR

Sort of puts the New Coke "fiasco" in perspective.

"The Rely tampon was so super-absorbent that one by itself could in fact hold one woman's entire menstrual period flow."

duck&cover - 2010-10-08

Rely: it will suck you dry.

Ah, the 70s, when America realized women have vaginas.
