Sean Maher never quite fit in Firefly. He's the only character who could have died without me blinking an eyelid.
If you'll excuse me, my three fans are clamoring for updates to my epic 13 part alterverse Shepard Book fanfic "Without A Prayer", where Book survives, and crosses universes into Speaker for the Dead and Cowboy Bebop.
I know what you mean - about Sean Maher, I mean. His character wasn't supposed to fit in, but there was some extra awkwardness there. He probably would have gotten over it in time, though.
I always get the impression that Ron Glass didn't really fit in with the cast. He isn't in any of the gag reels and I never hear any of the other cast members talk about him.
Obviously Book should cross over into MASS EFFECT!! Then it could be like a pun on Shepherd and Shepard. GodDAMMIT!
Now I have to go write some fanfic! Mine is gonna be called SHEPARD WITHOUT A FLOCK and it's about how Shepard has a crisis of faith when it comes to saving all of humanity and Book shows up to help him through it. Then they kiss.
