A common sentiment among my friends, who were also big TV KITH fans, was that Brain Candy did indeed suck on the first viewing. We grew to love the hell out of it after about the third viewing, and the 30 or so viewings after that cemented it into our everyday life; it colors many conversations to this day.

It does get better with repeat viewing, but I still find it odd that people thought it sucked at any point. Death Comes To Town, on the other hand, was overall fairly weak, with a few good moments.

Also everyone should hunt down the workprint cut, just to see what it was originally supposed to be like. The entire second half is different.
