He says "So lonely" very clearly. Is this ironic racism?

WHO WANTS DESSERT - 2010-04-29

It is, in fact, a reference to 2004 comedy blockbuster Team America: World Police, where Kim Jong Il sings about how lonely he is. It is also a passing phrase in internet vernacular.

IrishWhiskey - 2010-04-30

So...no? Its not ironic?

Frank Rizzo - 2010-04-30

oh the ilony.

APE_GOD - 2010-04-30

I..I'm confused. I don't remember this scene in Team America. Didn't that movie just have puppets in it?

Spoonybard - 2010-04-30

It also came out 8 years after Fargo

Riskbreaker - 2010-04-29

This was one of my favorite moments from the film. Is just as akward as you would imagine this in real life.

Hay Belly - 2010-04-30

You don't have to imagine this scene in real life if you're female. You've lived it.

Sacks5thAvenButt - 2010-04-30

nobody ever gets my, "youre such a super lady" reference

kwash - 2010-04-30

OH GOD THE ACCENTS SO AKWARD

zerobackup - 2010-04-30

My favorite part is how she's clearly 8 months pregnant and he still goes for it.

al k duh - 2010-04-30

well, yeah dude. you can't get a chick double-pregnant.

Was this inspired by the SA thread that points out that his awkward but audacious deception is what convinces Marge to re-interview Jerry Lundergaard? It's obvious now, but I never caught that before. I'd thought it was just comic relief.
