Wow. I voted this up when he made such a big deal about the driver being in the HOV lane, and I have to say, the ending is worth it.

charmlessman - 2010-04-09

What I took away from this is that I shouldn't Tweet and drive. Thanks, Shep.

dienerinlb - 2010-04-09

Follow the link in the youtube description for some prime crazy.

splatterbabble - 2010-04-09

If only commentators had the same enthusiasm about congressmen selling our liberties to private companies.

"Here's Jones and he's just left the conference of Big Tobacco where he's signed a deal to provide them with 4.5 billion dollars more over the next five years as long as the company agrees to continue creating Truth commercials.

"He's on his way now to the corporate offices of DuPont Chemicals to receive funding for his party in exchange for subsidies and a vote against Cap and Trade. We think it's Cap and Trade, anyway, could well be EPA Standards or the Consumer Protection Agency.

"Boy I would hate to be in his constituency..."

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2010-04-10

When the Truth commercials were at their height my coworker saw several of the Truth people smoking in line outside a theater. He confronted them and called them hypocrites and they shrugged it off, saying a job's a job.

America: We love car chases, hypocrisy, and the status quo.

Re: this video, Shep Smith is the Lonny of Fox News.

The Mothership - 2010-04-09

So much like Lonnie it's frightening.

Crank dat car, girl!

poorwill - 2010-04-09

Needs a Lonnie tag.

Lazer Chachi - 2010-04-09

Haha, that's exactly what I was thinking while watching this.

The Mothership - 2010-04-09

spooky pattern: Oktay him/herself submitted three Lonnie videos.

Oktay - 2010-04-09

I see no reason to insult Lonnie. And "himself".

boner - 2010-04-09

Maybe this is Lonnie on a Monday afternoon. We've only been hearing Weekend Lonnie.

Oktay - 2010-04-09

Lonnie's much more coherent, and he wouldn't be rooting for the cops. He would totally broadcast the location of the spike strips. So there.

Scynne - 2010-04-09

What tires does he have on there? I want a set of four, please -- and one for the trunk!

CapnJesusHood - 2010-04-10

Shep wants some pretty decent tires in case he has to run somebody over again. He's a practical dude.

fermun - 2010-04-10

Do I hear an endorsement deal in the works?

Camonk - 2010-04-09

I was hoping it was the police chases guy. He probably wouldn't have gotten so caught up in the HOV lane thing; rookie move, Shep.

Desidiosus - 2010-04-09

But it's a 5 fine!

kennydra - 2010-04-09

I think shep just recently got an HOV fine before this broadcast. Why else would he know the figure off hand, and be so concerned?

JimL2 - 2010-04-09

What is that a Camry, yeah those are pretty good cars

Shep Smith should do a commentary track for Vanishing Point I bet he could probably ruin that as well

Cube - 2010-04-09

"Not a Road Warrior."

Rudy - 2010-04-12

He cannot hide his admiration of the driver. He reminds me of Fred Willard in "Best In Show".

Chibisuke - 2010-04-09

Hm, I wonder if the dude in the pickup that slammed into him died as the result of the cops chasing this guy at high speeds all over the fucking place over what was probably some minor drug infraction?

RocketBlender - 2010-04-10

From the news article linked in youtube: "Should Shane Michel be taken off life support for endangering countless lives and dealing drugs or should he rot in prison?"
That fuck is that?

RockBolt - 2010-04-10

LOUD UNINFORMED SPECULATION
