I still have this tape in a closet somewhere. My twelve year old self was convinced that a tape mailed free to every subscriber of a video game magazine would be a likely collector's item someday.

To be fair, Donkey Kong was a great platformer. 2 was better. 3 was meh.

I remember getting this with a game rental from Blockbuster.

I don't care what anyone says, DKC was a lot of fun, even if it was a bit too easy.

For a game developed entirely in the UK for a Japanese company, this video sure is all American. Did they think we couldn't handle more than one English accent (and that over the phone)?

There was a "secret" clip left off of the end of the second part. It involved them walking into a room where some dudes were playing Killer Instinct for snes and they quickly got kicked out. I guess the diddy password didn't work in that room.
