Oh yeah, and when writing tepid lifeguard turned detective muck, the writers of this show just gave up and started copying various X-Files and Star Trek episodes. There was some goddamn episode where Mitch fought some fucking VIKINGS. Vikings. That were trapped in fucking ice and thawed out in California.

Yeah ROUS, I have to say you're totally hyping the Vikings Trapped in Ice episode. I think I'd watch that episode.
The terrible episode of this show was when the Santa Ana Winds were driving people crazy and it was because of a wizard who was trapped in a cave... or something. It was really stupid.

I saw the end of an episode once...the Hoff and his partner had cornered the villian of the week, who was shooting at them from an elevated platform of some sort. The sides of this thing were as high as this guy's armpit level at least but when he got shot, somehow he fell over for a "railing kill".

Baywatch Nights: For all those who loved Baywatch but hated having to watch chicks with big boobs running around in bathing suits.

I'm baffled that this show never really took off.
