manning_krull - 2010-02-06

I love, love, love the "let's get rid of all the bad government people and replace them all with more gooder people!" concept. Yeah, let's do that! Why hasn't anybody thought of that before?

wtf japan - 2010-02-06

I hope the future writers of American history textbooks aren't too pc to describe this as the faggiest popular movement of all time. There really is no other way to adequately describe it.

Goethe and ernie - 2010-02-06

I'm correct in thinking that "big government" basically means "taxes", right? These guys make the BNP look good.

cognitivedissonance - 2010-02-06

It means "the parts of the Constitution that don't guarantee guns, including that pesky First Amendment".

revdrew - 2010-02-06

They have a really screwy idea of what "tyrannical" means.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2010-02-06

So he dresses up as a guy who died before the constitution was written as support of the constitution. That's kind of like dressing up like Ramses II in support of the Bible.

citrusmirakel - 2010-02-06

Consider yourself bulbed.

StanleyPain - 2010-02-06

Just to the symbolism of this guy dressing up as Gwinnett is not lost:
Gwinnett was a fairly radical politician in his day, equal to the right wing, nutcase militia people of the present. He had enough political support to barely edge out a brief career in politics, but he never got the kind of respect and office he wanted. At best, he managed to be a Georgian representative, sign the declaration, and then later helped his own state to avoid being absorbed into South Carolina by helping to engineer its own constitution. Apart from that, he was not well thought of and he was known for violent rhetoric and was suspected of having a hand in the death of at least one prominent Georgian politician.
He died when he challenged an old political rival to a duel and lost. If this is the kind of man teabaggers want to uphold as a great founding father they either 1.)know nothing about the man except he signed the Decleration or 2.) they know exactly who he is and this is more of that "I'm too chickenshit to come out and actually threaten violence, so I do it this way" kind of "water the tree of liberty" bullshit.

Also, this guy didn't even TRY to look like Button Gwinnett.

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2010-02-06

If you pretend you're George Washington and have a high enough Speech skill, he'll go away

StanleyPain - 2010-02-06

I am not voting for my own submission..stars for oswald.

happy_ending - 2010-02-06

Or if you get the tools, you can forge it. Man, I wanted him to be a follower so damn bad :(

C. Eloi Marx - 2010-02-06

Where is the powdered wig, the claw hands, the vacuum tubes. This man looks nothing like Button Gwinnett.

Camonk - 2010-02-06

I will bet you any amount of money that you want that this guy just absolutely hates black people.

Goofy Gorilla - 2010-02-06

Interestingly, he's not fat enough.

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2010-02-06

paparatti - 2010-02-06

It's a great time to be an English expat in the US of A.
