Such is the difficulty of classifying Japanese contemporary music... their rock timeline definitely doesn't match up with ours and there aren't really specific names in Japan (that I am aware of) for their various flavors of rock.

That being said, Masu Dore's style is in the vein of groups like Number Girl and 9mm Parabellum Bullet, and some of their other tracks are more janky.
