Sadly, they are right in a way. Today, many many children aren't taught simple things, like basic respect for themselves and others. Though, I don't know the percentages, so maybe we had just as many bad parents in the 50s, but there are a ton more people now. Also, I don't know how many more people we actually have now.
One more thing. You know Beck pines for the 60s, when you needed a witness for it to be rape.
