What hell sounds like?

Two crappy creationists who worship Milton Friedman yapping at each other. I think Paul is the less repugnant of the two maybe.

aikimoe - 2010-01-01

Actually, Stein (a grade-A idiot and twerpy cunt) disagrees with Friedman on just about everything, which is why he supports the things he does. Friedman was against the invasion of Iraq, along with most every military action we've taken since WW2. In that sense (and many others), Friedman (who was also more responsible than any other individual for the end of the draft) was much more liberal than most Democrats.

If Paul is a creationist, I haven't heard him say it should be taught in school.

The Townleybomb - 2010-01-01

Yeah, come on, they are completely different right-wing creationist lunatics!

aikimoe - 2010-01-01

Well, they are completely different right-wing creationist lunatics. Life is strange and complex that way.

Actually Ron Paul is a cooky racist bonkers idiot who appeals to a largely incoherent and dorky survivalist base. He IS slightly more true to Friedman by being more rabidly anti-government upfront than Stein is. However, Stein isn't the only one who has stepped out of his free market instincts!

Ron Paul himself has voted in favor of some of that federalist oppression he hates so much, such as "We The People" Act, which would forbid federal courts (including the Supreme Court) from hearing cases on subjects such as the display of religious text and imagery on government property, abortion, sexual practices, and same-sex marriage, and would forbid federal courts from spending any money to enforce their judgments. Neat, huh?

I guess it's only federalist oppression when it has to do with civil rights and stuff that would prevent bonkers creationists from teaching kids crap at schools. It's nice that you're willing to apologize for his complete lack of critical thinking skills in being a creationist though.

Also, yes, Friedman indeed was a former-New Dealer who would be to the left of most Republicans and a good number of Democrats today. I was referring to the fact that both Stein and Paul are wheeler dealers who write essays praising his name.

I first read that as 'conservative titties'.

Three tits and a lady. What a sight.

memedumpster - 2010-01-02

As a Jew, Ben Stein should know how awesome IBM is at cataloging people.
