I am torn between my burning white-hot rage and my instinctive desire to laugh.

Ashenblade - 2009-12-02

Nobody even attempted to correct her. Evil stars.

HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-12-02

Why would they? Once you say anything against Obama you get a 'get out of jail free' card for anything you say after that.

I wonder how far someone could push this. I do know on shows like Limbaugh and Boortz it takes some serious crackpottery to get them to correct a caller after they know the caller is conservative.

It's the rule of the far right. Question that democrats even breathe air and live on the same planet - but conservatives are a-okay even if they seem to actually be from another planet that is completely out of the scope of reality.

Riskbreaker - 2009-12-02

What does it take to work on fox news? Seems pretty easy to apply for it:

-Hate minorities and gays
-Lie all the time
-SCREAM A LOT AND USE FUNNY GRAPHICS WITH BRIGHT COLORS!

pineapplejuicer - 2009-12-02

five for cena baiting. go!

Cena_mark - 2009-12-03

She made a little mistake. We all know 911 occurred during the Bush years. However that was before we were well aware of the threat terrorists posed. Since 911 Bush made sure there would be no more terror attacks on the US and he succeeded at such.
Obama came to the White House with Bush's effective anti-terror machine running and the first thing he does is cut the balls off it.
The Fort Hood shooting could have been prevented, but Obama and his kinder gentler way of fighting terror allowed it to happen.

Udderdude - 2009-12-03

Hook, like and sinker.

tamago - 2009-12-03

Took the bait like a champion. Five stars.

mashedtater - 2009-12-03

goddammit, ill bite.

cena, darling.

that was fine until you had to drag fort hood into it.

are you in the military? do you understand military protocol? the tragedy at fort hood was on par with something like columbine. any errors that occurred and lead up to that horrible day are really on the base's own local administration. from all accounts, standard procedures within the base seem to have been followed. i suppose most people would look at that and say, "wow! this was horrific! maybe our standard way of operating in terms of gun control on base need to be examined and maybe changed."

so how did obama allow that day to happen, mark? was he the one checking trunks? did he do an exam on the gunman himself and do an assessment that worried him yet still allowed him on base? really, id like to know what obama could have done DIRECTLY to prevent that from happening, short of being John Smith from the Dead Zone.

jesus fucking christ cena, of course the man is going to make mistakes that have impact everyone can clearly see. but to blame fort hood on obama is as senseless and tasteless as blaming the actual hurricane katrina on bush.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-12-03

What Cena has brilliantly done here is swap Bush for Clinton and Obama for Bush.

You know, the president that was briefed in August of 2001 about Al-Qaeda looking for attack targets in NYC and just let it happen. Or, if you prefer, the guy with the sweet bomber jacket.

CornOnTheCabre - 2009-12-03

as we all know, terrorism wasn't invented until after 9/11.

SDAusmus - 2009-12-03

"Since 911 Bush made sure there would be no more terror attacks on the US and he succeeded at such"

Um, does no one remember the Anthrax mailings?

TeenerTot - 2009-12-03

I thought the Fort hood guy came to the attention of authorities under Bush's watch.

Son of Slam - 2009-12-03

Yeah, that anthrax thing kinda gets forgotten. However, if you're going to call Ft. Hood a terrorist attack, then the Beltway Sniper also counts.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-12-04

The Beltway sniper was a communist. Note how he used a single bullet for all of his kills.

(in all seriousness according to the wikipedia he was convicted of killing "pursuant to the direction or order" of terrorism in one of the trials)

Jeff Fries - 2009-12-04

Fort Hood, where the guy who killed everyone was in contact with Anwar al-Awlaki "as part of his research" (CIA), who could have seen that coming really

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2009-12-02

Torn between my jaw hitting the floor, and grinding my teeth to dust.

MaulLove - 2009-12-02

Mother fucker!

Lazer Chachi - 2009-12-02

Hey, why is that American talking in a British accent?

sannyasin - 2009-12-03

In her defense, she probably believed what she said. After all she didn't know what the Cuban Missile Crisis was when she was the Deputy Press Secretary during Bush's term. She's still an idiot though. Stars for stupidity and the evilness of Fox for not correcting her.

Jeff Fries - 2009-12-03

"We didn't have ANOTHER terrorist attack like we expected, excuse me"

"No, I understood"

phalsebob - 2009-12-03

No, the word 'another' does not appear in this video.

rustedmutt - 2009-12-03

Needs the 'chinsticles' tag...or something. I don't fucking know.

I'm just angry.

TAKE. STARS. GRR.

Hooper_X - 2009-12-03

ANTHRAX LETTERS YOU GODDAMNED STUPID CUNT

FUCK POLAND, YOU FORGOT THE GODDAMNED ANTHRAX LETTERS THAT ACTUALLY *KILLED PEOPLE.*

(but they were journalists in south florida so they were probably no good libbrul jews anyway)

Doctor Arcane - 2009-12-03

Maybe she meant his second term.

magnesium - 2009-12-03

What is it with American politicians appointing the dumbest women they can find? There are plenty of intelligent women out there, so why do halfwits like here get to be on TV? I'd be embarrassed if I employed her.

Why would the Bush administration want to pretend they hadn't had any terrorist attacks during their presidency? 9/11 was the best thing that ever happened to that administration. It shot Bush's approval rating way up and he was seen as a hero for a little while until things went all to shit with the economy and the war, etc etc.

citrusmirakel - 2009-12-03

She was George W. Bush's last press secretary, in what ended up being a long series of different people who could only lie to the press daily for about a year or so and then quit.

Thing is Dana Perino still seemed more competent than Scott McClellan, and did a lot less bald-faced lying than Ari Fleischer.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-12-04

It wasn't a little while, he was re-elected because of it. They even tried it again in 2008 but for whatever reason the "decider" schtick doesn't work when the guy's not a draft dodger.

Syd Midnight - 2009-12-04

The thing I like is that if she was right, that would make George W. Bush a war criminal for the unprovoked military invasion of Afghanistan. No thinking going on whatsoever.
