This song is the exact midpoint between "One Night in Bangkok," "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and...hm. Lords of the New Church's "Dance With Me," maybe? Wherever it falls on the Venn diagram of stupidly overwrought 80's pop I still love it, like an adorably retarded puppy. 5 because I bought this soundtrack immediately after seeing the film (I think I went straight from the theater to the music store in the same mall) and this song was the reason. I seem to recall being a bit disappointed though because the film had an instrumental mix that I liked better.
