As much as I can't stand NASCAR fans, I do have to admit that the drivers are making more money than I am and are better skilled at driving than probably all of the posters on POE.

And, sorry to say, but NASCAR does drive on tracks with turns in both directions but they aren't very popular compared to races like Talladega, Daytona, Bristol, etc.

are you defending nascar? really?

phalsebob - 2009-11-05

Nascar is one of the... do I call this a sport or what... 'sports' that turned me off of interest in sports as a kid because it is so utterly boring. Those Euro-Rally races are 5000 times more interesting AND people have accents that don't make me want to punch them.

Camonk - 2009-11-05

People who play bingo are probably better at bingo than everybody at PoE.

That doesn't make them or bingo interesting.

NASCAR is cars racing in pretty much a straight line for hours. It's like watching traffic, but faster.

simon666 - 2009-11-05

Amateur hour.

FABIO - 2009-11-05

Almost makes NASCAR interesting.

chumbucket - 2009-11-05

steering muscles on the right forearm are as fully developed, plus rain with slicks

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2009-11-05

this shit is more fun when you're in the fucking car

and not on a track

and not racing but just bah-hahing through fallow wheat fields

....

fuck NASCAR

Desidiosus - 2009-11-05

So they won't run F1 at this track but they will run NASCAR? Fuck that shit.

Urist - 2009-11-05

Calm down, F1 is back for 2010 (so far).

voodoo_pork - 2009-11-05

What is NASCAR? Is that a band?

Ersatz - 2009-11-05

Plus they drive on the left in Canada, which makes it doubly hard.

mantang0 - 2009-11-06

hahaha NASCAR truly is the most worthless of motorsports

Chalkdust - 2009-11-06

I won't say Yakety Sax would improve this video, because it wouldn't. No, this deserves something from the Hal Roach Studios archives.

gSSEhh - 2009-11-06

I don't know how the announcers kept from laughing.

Hooper_X - 2009-11-06

To be completely fair, this was really really poorly planned by NASCAR itself. The cars didn't have headlights, tail lights, or *brake lights*, so you literally couldn't tell who was coming or going.

Also, this was the Nationwide Series, which is like NASCAR's JV league. There were maybe a handful of regular championship-contender drivers at the race, and they were all up front.
