As you can see the steroid infused individual tries to assert supremacy over the other members of the tribe. He does this in any acceptable manner. If he were to become violent it is quite likely that the sum of the tribe would deal with him in an unpleasant and costly manner. But as you can see by simply showing his dominance over another member in a sexual fashion, he has gathered the respect of his tribe.
