As if the tea parties and birthers and people voting for Bush for a second term and people thinking Sarah Palin is the most gifted politican ever weren't enough, now Americans have one more thing to be embarassed over: we live in a country where there has to be a fucking CONFERENCE about how vaccinations actually work.
It's not a conference on how vaccinations work. I'm pretty familiar with the JREF and TAM, and without even watching the video or looking into it all... I can guarantee it's a talk on either the current state of affairs with the anti-vax folks, or a talk on debunking whatever bs their movement is pushing.
Also in the UK: The equivalent to our surgeon general publicly supports homeopathic "medicine"
