I love how Palin is the new source of conservative cognitive dissonance. She was an awful governor with zero traction with the legislature, and her main initiative, refusing stimulus money, is facing veto in January. She couldn't even make it a full term.
Ann says that now but just wait 'til Sarah decides she'd rather be a pundit and get all that adoration without the pesky ethics investigation. It'd be high-lair-ious if Palin ends up replacing Ann on Fox....

The actual number is just under 0k. The numbers are public record. They know it and will lie to your face because they think you're stupid.
The funniest part is, that total would be significantly lower if Palin hadn't started an investigation of herself. She didn't approve of the independent investigation that found her guilty of misconduct, so she began her own, overseen by hand-picked lackeys, to find her innocent.
She may be delusional enough to think that any such investigation could only be purely political, and that her resignation is the political equivalent of an out-of-court settlement. Seriously, who the fuck knows with this woman?
