It's weird, because this is basically two of my favorite things in the world smushed together, but it's also kind of really really awful.

I think that this is the worst thing Steve Martin as ever done.

Oh man, Steve Martin in a proto-mullet and Dave Thomas in a cheesy fake mustache is a baaad combination.

This would of been awesome if he was singing.

It's just...bad, as it is.

What usually passes for comedy on TV is far more awkward and unfunny than this video. I'm in the minority, but at least some moments seemed amusing-- even if I didn't laugh.

Eh, it wasn't too bad. And I actually kind of liked that credit sequence. Was Buck Henry a regular cast member or just a one-time guest? Either way, that's kind of odd.

Five stars for the cool credits.

It's funny because at the time Michael Jackson was still black.

5 stars for being absolutely terrible.

I distinctly recall seeing this when it originally aired--I would have been seven or eight--and thinking the part where he was stomping his foot trying to get the sidewalk to light up was absolutely hilarious.

Giving this five stars in recognition of my dumb seven-or-eight-year-old self.
