I'm actually starting to like Real Time more than the Daily Show.
I've always liked Maher. Sure, he comes off as smug and self-satisfied, but he has a better ratio of humor to insight. The Daily Show is starting to just seem soft and goofy by comparison.
You can't bitch slap every problem like he did with Jim Cramer
and not be in the spotlight. Stewart and the Daily show do not want to be at the front of the class, they want to be in the back making fart noises and spit wads to throw at Dick Cheney.
You mean we elected a president who made grand campaign promises for sweeping reforms and when he got elected he only, for the most part, carries on the same policies we've used for decades and plays politics?! CONSTERNATION! UPROAR! This is unprecedented!
Ehhn. I disagree with that. Maher has a lot of good points, and the Obama administration has a lot of foresight into these types of problems. This'll stop.
Geez it's depressing seeing all these "OBAMA DIDN'T MAKE EVERYTHING PERFECT WITHIN ONE YEAR THE HONEYMOON IS OVER!" dummy old comments.
The best thing about a Bernie Sanders presidency would be watching his devotees turn on him in the exact same way, like how they do with every dream candidate who collides with reality.
