Taken as the pure speculation that it is, this is a pretty neat show.

Barlowe was one of my biggest influences as a young artist, and still is today. Great to see some of his greatest beasties animated...especially the Daggerwrist.

I remember having Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials when I was a kid. He's really fun. Loved this.

I loved the book when I was a kid. Wish they'd done more with the television show, though.
