I lived near an arcade that got one of these when it came out (god bless the golden age of arcades). It was a pretty bad game. The holographic effect was impressive for the time, but it was the worst title to pair with the technology. It was just a terrible Dragon's Lair type game with super sensitive timing.

Maybe a week after that arcade got it, no one was playing it.

That game was impossibly difficult. dragon's lair style game play and worse than dragon's lair style unresponsive controls.

Even for that era, the Donkey Kong references were laughably dated.

Speaking of laughter, way to get the "actors" from the game on-camera and then not let them say anything.

Anyway, I remember Time Traveler. Specifically, I remember it collecting dust over in the corner of my local mall arcade while everyone played Street Fighter II.

Way to put a mirror and a laserdisk player together!

Such a horrible fucking game. It deserves the horribly awkward television journalist doing a horrible job at doing a horrible 2-minute filler segment.

Five stars for letting me see a life-size version of the cowboy whose reflexes I cursed oh so many times.

This game will always remind me of the boardwalk on the Jersey shore. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
