Camonk - 2009-04-09 Easy, make a flashy trailer for any franchise that's not Star Trek and you've done better. Also have a ship that's not designed by a gay, retarded swan aficionado.

dr tits - 2009-04-09 why did they turn kirk into a bro while maintaining classy uniforms and 60's hairdos on everyone else?

13.5 - 2009-04-09
Well, that was a nice movie. Time to go cold turkey on trailers again.
|
grimcity - 2009-04-09
Hey, Sylar's a Vulcan? Good thing Kirk doesn't have any magical powers!

|
SolRo - 2009-04-09
movie trailer music needs to be included in the movie at the referenced scenes, by law

StanleyPain - 2009-04-09
I'm not a big Trek fan, but I went from initially not caring about this movie to be being pretty interested in seeing it after reading some of the initial press on it. I also really, really like how they're tying this film into the old Trek, or more accurately I like how they're ending Next Generation continuity to cycle forward into starting this series; it's probably the best storyline for a Trek movie in a long, long time.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-04-09
I'm a star trek fan. I'm going to see this movie. But I'm going to see Simon Pegg as Scotty. Nothing more.

FABIO - 2009-04-09
Evil aliens attack and only the USS Abercrombie and her brave crew of models stand in their way. Will they be able to stop love triangle infighting and tearing their shirts off long enough to pull together and save the day?
|
Xenocide - 2009-04-09 (Kirk and Dr. McCoy walk along the beach)
"Well, Bones, I must say I can't wait until Scotty fixes the transporter beam and we can get the hell out off this world! I am sick of being stuck on the planet of the metrosexuals!"
"Captain, look!"
(McCoy points to the remains of the statue of liberty)
"Hm. Well, damn you all to hell, I guess."

Hooker - 2009-04-09
I've never cared for Star Trek. This looks dumb.
|
Aelric - 2009-04-09
I used to dig star trek as a kid but never could get back into it as an adult. I dig sci-fi just fine, but star trek always seemed too, I dunno, hokey. This looks better, but it's still star trek an I dunno if my mind can get around that.
I will say that was some damn fine trailer music, however.

Senator_Unger - 2009-04-09
I imagine getting to play Sulu and Scotty fulfills Cho's and Pegg's childhood fantasies, at least.

fredfrankel - 2009-04-09
sweet!

William Burns - 2009-04-09
Looks exactly like a Star Wars prequel. 3 stars for Simon Pegg as Scotty.
|
DMKA - 2009-04-09
Five stars for the nerd ragey argument going on in these comments.
|
FeeFiFoFoTheFifeFifeBrown - 2009-04-11
I dunno. Maybe I've a nerd rager, but I kind think it was classy that we never saw a sweaty Kirk pumping away on top of some space chick.
It just doesn't feel right.
