I had to stop watching at 2:14, but it was worth every second. And before Cena Mark jumps in here:
The government restricting a woman's ability to have an abortion is a government restricting the liberties of the individual and interfering with the sovereignty of one's body. "Pro-life" is neither of Libertarian nor Republican values, it is authoritarian in every sense.

Cry some more, piggie.
How was that trip to the Dominican Republic, by the way? I mean, the part before you got caught at the airport with the viagra you weren't prescribed.

So if no one was evicted from the studio, why is it empty in the last segment?
Playing devil's advocate though, and I am a pro-choice'er, yelling isn't the best way to get your point across. However, if she hadn't yelled her point may not have been carried across.
I would love to ask Rush why, if he believes in liberty, that we must restrict a woman's right to choose?

Though I'm not socially conservative like Rush, I must say that the audience didn't know how to act. I've found myself in situations like his where I was trying to discuss something with liberals, only to be shouted at and insulted. This shows liberals only know how to chant and yell slogans, nothing more.
|
|
HarrietTubmanPI - 2009-03-07 Because I've never heard a single conservative yell at a liberal.
|
|
Cena_mark - 2009-03-07 Yeah its happened on my side, but I'm talking about this video, that moment. The audience was acting like a gang of baboons. It totally makes Rush look like the good guy.
|
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2009-03-07 Cena: It only makes Rush look like "the good guy" if you ignore what he's saying in the clip and what he's said in the past. The man is used to having total control over his shows, and that just doesn't work without a hand-picked audience.
I mean, how long did his half-hour TV show last? The only deliberately "conservative" show that got canceled quicker is Fox's abortion of comedy, "The Half Hour News Hour."
|
|
SteamPoweredKleenex - 2009-03-07 And additionally:
"The audience was acting like a gang of baboons."
None of them have national media presences or shows. Rush and the others I listed perpetuate their incivility and bile 5 days a week or more.

People can be closed minded. That's quite an observation coming from you, Cena.
Anyway, I went to a ridiculously PC college and I hate kneejerk activists as much as I hate kneejerk reactionaries. I remember a bunch of hippies were screaming at Bill Bradley from the bleachers because some bill he voted yes on had money in it for nuclear weapons. "If it's not Ralph Nader than it's nothing..."
But just because some liberals hurt your feelings doesn't mean you have the moral ground to be stupid and vote for George Bush twice.

Pretty sure this is a dupe. Oh well, interesting to experience Rush in a non-handpicked audience one more time.

Jesus Christ, that's a spastic angry lady.
But, I don't doubt that women everywhere all over the world are dying because of Rush.
Maybe gay men as well.
It's taste of your own medicine time, Rushie.
|
Binro the Heretic - 2009-03-07
This a publicity stunt cooked up by CBS and Limbaugh.
People were planted in the audience to yell and scream at Limbaugh and make all liberals look like shrill, inarticulate assholes and make Rush look good by comparison.
|
Randroid - 2009-03-08 So, you see, it's they who are the real racists... the real bigots... the real enemies of American freedom... Coming next: Intellectual negroes - uppity or just plain un-American?
