This would inevitably lead to illegal underground sequel markets, which I can't imagine being any better.

Camonk - 2009-02-25

Yeah, but I think that's a much better thing for the Michael Vicks of the world to occupy themselves with.

FEAR 1 is better than FEAR 2 because it is worth now.

FABIO - 2009-02-25

FEAR was the Halo of horror FPS.

Oh look, The Escapist present a Chuck Norris joke right below this video =(

Xiphias - 2009-02-25

I liked fear but I dont need to play it again.

Desidiosus - 2009-02-25

FEAR had about three scary parts in it and the rest was just shooting the same guy over and over and over.

So F.E.A.R. 2 is just basically Revolution X with better graphics?

SOLD!

FABIO - 2009-02-26

The most baffling part about FEAR was that it HAD neat settings and enemies like the offices (making it horror Die Hard) and those invisible ninja claw guys popping out at you...

...but for some reason they chose to only use them for 5 minutes before chucking you back into fighting SWAT guys in another sewer.

The thing about FEAR is that the same team actually managed to produce a decent fusion of horror and FPS action with Condemned.

Then they fucked up Condemned 2.

Then they went back to FEAR.

So, having stumbled across the sort of game they clearly wanted to make all along, they retreated at full speed for safe, familiar territory and seem intent on sitting there forevermore.
