this sure sounds like a pretty comical bakery

I would normally dismiss this stuff as uninteresting except that this guy also did the music for the C64 game Rambo II that sticks in my mind to this day

Hooper_X - 2009-02-10

Man, "dramatic baked goods videogame" is going to be one of Those Tags, isn't it?

heyitslozeau - 2009-02-10

God, it even breaks down and sirens.

I need to find my glowsticks and binkie.

"Parallax" is my favorite of his (I think). The C64 had a few musicians who deserved bands, and browsing the HVSC listening to .sid tunes is surprisingly entertaining. I'd love to find a program that converts .sid songs to MIDI so you can listen to them with updated insturments.

3:17.. which is how long it the game to load, obviously.

Sputum - 2009-02-10

That would be great, but honestly, I think using updated synths would break a number of the good ones. The SID chip was so unique and cool sounding.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-02-19

Seriously, 95% of the brilliance of this stuff is that it's all done on the same synthesizer. There is absolutely no value in replacing that with crappy GM samples.

Spastic Avenger - 2009-02-11

This music, albeit through a different chipset, was also used on the Game Boy version of Jurassic Park.

The picardy third is the suprise ending of the music world.
