If Ron Paul had his way we would abandon all regulations which of course leads to people acting more ethically. We're in the shit right now because of dishonest business practices and lack of oversight not because we don't have the goddamn gold standard and we regulate industry.

almo - 2009-01-29

Because the war on drugs is doing wonders for the economy.

heyitslozeau - 2009-01-29

when did I mention the war on drugs?

fatatty - 2009-01-29

There's a big difference between the war on drugs and regulating the banks and wall street. The drugs should be an industry and be regulated actually. That's one of a few government bureaucracies that I agree needs to be destroyed. Other than that I doubt destroying the Fed, the IRS and the dept. of Education will fix the country.

almo - 2009-01-29

it is regulated

it's also divvied out to congressmen and senators because all they do it do blow off of each others asses all day

buttnutt - 2009-01-29

what is almo talking about?

IrishWhiskey - 2009-01-29

I think he's trying to say that the two areas of law are the same, because both are regulated. In other words, if its a bad idea to outlaw soccer, then its logically a bad idea to outlaw murder.

Then he suggests that members of Congress receive federally distributed shipments of cocaine, which they ingest after placing the substance on each others rear ends. Which is a stupid suggestion. No one wants to do blow off a Congressman's ass. That's what hookers are for.

almo - 2009-01-29

no hooker wants to bone a crusty old congressman

they gotta keep it in house

dickshapedfood - 2009-01-29

Ron Paul, I do not think you understand what is going on. But you are still cute. I like your ears. Not your words, tho.

RockBolt - 2009-01-29

"So would you accept double digit unemployment if that is what your plan would cause?"

"WELL IT WOULDN'T BE MY FAULT, I DIDN'T FIRE EVERYONE"

oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2009-01-29

jesus christ ron paul SHUT THE FUCK UP

chumbucket - 2009-01-29

I like how Ratigan leads him down the face-palm inducing responses and the tag team with Barnacle doing the "I'm dumb, explain something for ONCE Ron!"

like Palin, he just needs to go away along with his tin foil hat/kool aid drinking supporters.

"drinks from robots" needs a tag

oh and Mika appears to have an ample collection of tight fitting, low necked tops for work on a daily basis

Senator_Unger - 2009-01-29

"Get rid of the income tax, get rid of corporate taxes."
"I agree with you on that."
Oh, go fuck yourselves you rich whores. How is that even *considered* as an option these days? That's the real reason why the economy sucks; about 40 years ago America's wealthy jack-offs decided they were above paying their fare share to society and decided to destroy any law that said they had to be even remotely responsible corporate citizens. Now people who did nothing but worked hard for a piece of the American dream are losing everything while the assholes whose greed brought down the banking sector get to stay in their plush Manhattan apartments while their wait for their "trial" to start.
Ron Paul is right about one thing. It's revolution time.

Tstyle - 2009-01-29
