I do like Yatzee's boobs policy: They're nice if they're in a game, but not if that's the only reason the game was made.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-01-14

So, no to Dead or Alive, then?

fermun - 2009-01-14

I am Mr. Brain Hat!

Being a spider rocks!

I only made it to TRIII. The series was losing its fun factor even then. I was surprised to learn they had made six more of the damned things.

I did check out ''TR:Anniversary'' because I'd heard it was the original game with updated graphics and some extra puzzles, but they had bastardized it too badly.

Jeff Fries - 2009-01-14

Tranniversary, the game?

Emcee - 2009-01-14

I really liked Anniversary, but it was my first game in the series.

"French war heroes"

To me Tomb Raider was like Myst; the kind of game you received as a present, not something you actually went out & purchased.

The funniest in a while.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-01-14

Lara Croft really is a jerk.

Cleaner82 - 2009-01-14

I enjoyed the last one, Legends or whatever, but I always have wondered about the girl's ethics. They basically don't exist, do they?

FABIO2 - 2009-01-14

Fan done MST3k too terrible? Let's move it to GAMES.

Aubrey McFate - 2009-01-14

Yeah, it's an awesome concept that they completely fucked up. Thanks, monotone nerd crew!

Aubrey McFate - 2009-01-14

Oh look a penny

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-01-15

The original was fucking good, though. I have great memories of this, Tekken 2, Gran Turismo, Resident Evil, Micro Machines, Twisted Metal World Tour and on and on.

"Top of the range buttock physics."

As usual, he's being unnecessarily harsh for the sake of laughs. Trunderworld is a very good game.

There was an editorial about Yahtzee in this month's PC Format which claimed he was lowering the tone of the journalistic profession, which would probably be true if he was an actual journalist and not a smartarse with a microphone.

RomancingTrain - 2009-01-15

And if you could actually lower the tone of game journalism any further than it has always been.

Squeamish - 2009-01-18

"Games Journalism" is an oxymoron. When even the worst game in the world routinely gets better than a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10, and after all the complaints the reviewer says "it may not be for everyone, but I suggest you give it a try for yourself," then you have to admit that games journalism doesn't exist - it's just another advertising method.

That said, Yahtzee mercilessly taking the piss out of every game with a dedicated fanbase = gold.
