I love this song, but this doesn't sound like the original, which I would demonstrate but it doesn't seem to be on YouTube except in live format. Difference seems to be more electronics and no live bass guitar.

In 20-some odd years, I've never figured out why he's got his tie tied so the skinny end is on top. Oh well.
