I would probably give five stars to a youtube clip that was just the words MEET THE FEEBLES on a static black screen. I love this movie.

This was actually Jackson's second feature film. The first was Bad Taste. I wonder whatever happened to the closeup puppet money shots that were filmed for this? I've seen production stills.
The first half of Peter Jackson's career was about creating practical effects for the purpose of making the audience vomit.
Some media use laugh tracks to get the audience to laugh. Peter Jackson uses vomit the same way.
