I feel like they really toned down the Zappa references on the show after Joel left. They used to be pretty common and usually on the obscure side. My favorite was probably when one of them said Ungah Khan (Mad Tyrant of Atlantis) looked like Jimmy Carl Black.
Especially because he didn't.
