Bill O'Reilly has also worked very hard to make his decrepit viewers terrified of Amsterdam.

Because he's an asshole.

SkeletonMichelle - 2008-11-20

I always thought the Tenderloin District was the Tenderloin District of San Francisco.

Squidmojo - 2008-11-20

The Tenderloin District is the Tenderloin in SF. North Beach is something else entirely, full of upscale italian restaurants and strip clubs.

This is both offensive and hilarious. I've lived in SF for eight years now, and besides some punks in the park I've never seen homeless people traveling in packs.

socialist_hentai - 2008-11-20

It's not safe at night in San Francisco? Fuck you! I'd take pot-heads, hippies and gays over drunked gypsies any asshole!

socialist_hentai - 2008-11-20

* any day

garcet71283 - 2008-11-20

drunked?

socialist_hentai - 2008-11-20

*sorry my grasp on the english language sometimes slips, especially since i stopped using firefox and am left without a spellchecker

IrishWhiskey - 2008-11-20

Wow, San Fransisco has transgender, pot-smokers, homeless and the Beach Boys. How scary!!

So, Jeff Waters has never been to San Fransisco, and yet he thinks its "like a Grateful Dead concert" Oh, and he compares it to the Evil New York, only with more homeless. And at worst, Amstedam! Thank God for Guliani

IrishWhiskey - 2008-11-20

I got cut off in my incredulousness. Suffice to say, Stars for sheer unbelievable disconnected insanity.

Mad Struggle - 2008-11-20

So basically, San Fransisco is full of people that Fox News (and possibly their viewers) find un-american, disgusting and terrifying. I'm FUCKING SOLD.

Tstyle - 2008-11-20

Will I need a passport to go to this San Francisco?

RomancingTrain - 2008-11-20

Man, San Francisco seems almost as awesome as Berkeley, shame about those 2 prudes with their daughters though.

simon666 - 2008-11-20

I live in SF. I have this to say about the homeless:

This past year I was almost stabbed with a broken bottle by a schizophrenic when I attempted to help three young women he attacked in the front of my apartment.

With that said, this is a problem in San Francisco NOT because of progressive politics, but the conservative politics of Ronald Regan not wanting to fun mental health institutions.

And for anyone who thinks the homeless are lazy, deadbeats, or drop outs, are completely wrong and out of touch with reality. The majority of homeless are people with untreated mental illness., and their drug use is a self medicated coping mechanism to deal with their illness.

God I hate O'Reilly. It would have been nice if say, he had the mayor or a supervisor on the show instead of one of his fucking producers. What shit.

simon666 - 2008-11-20

fun = fund mental health...

simon666 - 2008-11-20

Also, I don't see my incident with a the homeless guy as a result of homelessness either. I see it more as something endemic to large metropolitan areas.

The Hierophant - 2008-11-20

I also live in SF, near one of the parks shown. I gladly accept the crackheads, vagrants, and weirdos, as they work miracles keeping the Bill O'Reillys of the world away. They're the fucking crocodiles in our moat, and I love every one.

imairlax - 2008-11-20

i dont live in san francisco, but five stars for the crocodile metaphor

The Hierophant - 2008-11-20

Also, love how they show Haight and Ashbury like that's still a 'hotbed'. There's a fucking Gap there now.

simon666 - 2008-11-20

Actually that got closed down. I think they go tired of people vandalizing it. It's a RVCA (Rooka) store now.

garcet71283 - 2008-11-20

Oh noes!!!

Somebody has a different opinion than yours!!!

(this applies to both Bill, and most of the above posters)

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-11-20

This isn't about opinion, he's portraying the city in a ridiculously slanderous light that no one has been to the City would possibly agree with. All aboard the muckraking trolley!

dead_cat - 2008-11-20

A 5 for Bill's obviously banking on none of his fans ever having been to SF.

oogaBooga - 2008-11-20

Nothin' wrong with frisco that you can't find anywhere else.

Oakland and Richmond, on the other hand...

Hooker - 2008-11-20

Five stars of evil for the satisfied "Mmm hmmm" at the end.

DMKA - 2008-11-20

I like how all of that footage could of been taken in any major American city.

Interestingly, while I grew up in Los Angeles, I now live in Ada, OK (supposedly the 'Bible Belt" and epicenter of traditional American values) and have seen more drug activity than ever in my life and the cops don't do shit about it unless you're a non-local trying to sell/cook on their turf.

Seriously Bill, you need to shut your fucking yuppie Long Island mouth.

Rudy - 2008-11-20

He's right. San Francisco has become a haven for fat people putting on T-shirts.

We are all to blame.

erratic - 2008-11-20

Also, notice the tie-in to Obama. His progressive policies are going to turn all of America into this!
