I'm biased against Reagan because my pops worked for the EPA in the first administration, the one that led to over a dozen convictions of Reagan picks in EPA department heads. You can imagine what working under those people must have been like if you actually gave a shit about the environment. He made it all the way up to GS16, which is one notch below the Director of the EPA, but was blacklisted by Republicans that didn't like that he fired a contractor that was getting shitloads of money just to exist but didn't actually do anything.

Reagan is shit, and with any luck the Reagan coalition, the Reagan revolution, and the nightmare of Reaganomics will be a thing of the past.

Reagan was the puppet idiot who let his crones run the show, but ignorance is not innocence, and in any other place of business, if you can't control your subordinates, you'll either be fired or asked to resign. So even if Reagan "didn't know what was going on" or "can't remember", that doesn't make him innocent. I will concede he was quite charming and a very eloquent speaker (if you allowed yourself to be snookered), but a crime is a crime, and justice should of been served.
