I presented this video on 73Q for two days without a single vote. Fuck you. It is both the best music and the best video I've seen in months.

The sigular fault of 73Q is very few of you are particularly interested in music/genres you haven't already heard before. I have watched pretty much everything presented in the past 6 months. Much of it is in genres I cannot comprehend (death metal, modern country) and I chose not to vote in those categories.

I'll clarify to the one or two who might come across this. By "still drunk", I did not mean that I was in a continuous state of inebriation for a full 3 weeks. That would be absurd.

The intoxication I felt then, and now, is rather discontinous. But under its effects I do feel justified, indeed empowered, to defend my aesthetic choices. This is a fantastic track. Many of the unfortunately named Zoot Woman's tracks are.

Someday, my taste will be vindicated. And all of you who had hitherto lived in a Zoot Woman free state will feel that years of your lives were stolen from you by wanton ignorance. I'll be able to look at you, wizened but probably not entirely sober, with disdain, as you ask me what the next big thing is.
