This is such a weird movie. And then Elijah Wood was also in Jack the Bear, which was equally grim and weird for a "family" movie.
The cut of this movie they showed in theaters was horrifying...
What the hell was this film about??
Elijah Wood's little brother gets beaten by his Dad constantly (the guy getting mauled by the dog) so they decide to turn their Radio Flyer wagon into an airplane to fly away to a place where Dad's don't abuse their children.
