I like it. Don't understand it, but like it.

cognitivedissonance - 2008-10-23

Like any British game show, it's rules are completely alien to any other English speaking culture.

chumbucket - 2008-10-23

I SAY guvnah, I may have no clue what they are talking about but I did catch myself laughing on the by and by

Rudy - 2008-10-23

I didn't get it either, until the very end.

"Yes! That is a number!"

Classic!

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-07-10

Some years ago the number game 'sudoku' swept Britain as a craze and is currently printed in newspapers like crosswords are. The joke is the idea of a game show similar to sudoku but less comprehensible.

That's a number!

Glad to help.

HEY XIPHIAS!

TRY LASERS! At the very least you'll end up with a cool silhouette!

ztc - 2008-10-23

It's just a gentle satire of home-grown British gameshows and the national reverence for nerdy ephemera like Countdown.

biohazzrd - 2008-10-23

There are more confusing things on TV. Like why Noel Edmonds keep getting work.

Randroid - 2008-10-23

I'm learning to play either Numberwang or Mornington Crescent one day.

Corman's Inferno - 2008-10-23

citrusmirakel - 2008-10-23

So there's like... two dozen British comedic actors. I swear, I haven't seen that much British television, and I still recognize most of these people.

vissarion - 2008-10-23

Five for Bertrand Russell.

IT IS NUMBERWANG

Chimneyfish - 2009-07-18

That is a distressingly accurate representation of logical atomism, yeah.

twinkieafternoon - 2011-12-31

It's a 4 way tie between eel-leven, "that is a number!", bertrand russell, and the pre-computer version.

how did i miss this when it came through before?

twinkieafternoon - 2012-01-03

Never mind. It's "Sir Kim Basimger."
