I had to wait until it was on HBO to watch it. They wouldn't show it before circa 3:00 in the morning, so I was already frazzled when I saw it. The one thing I seem to recall was an Aztec priest skinning someone alive, but I don't know whether that happened or it was just a hallucination brought on by sleep deprivation.
The same thing happened when i watched Monty Python's The Meaning of Life at 4:00am. For years I was convinced I had imagined that entire movie.
Q is one of those B-Movies that's elevated to being more than junk because of good writing - one of those things Larry Cohen does pretty well some of the time (remember, this is the guy behind the It's Alive! trilogy as well).
Granted, Cohen also did that horrid-looking Captivity thing, but remember, a man's gotta eat.
