I think he meant Eleanor Roosevelt. There used to be a series. It was called Eleanor and the Betsies. It was actually a precursor to Josie and the Pussycats, only it was Eleanor Roosevelt and the Betsies, and the Betsies basically played their instruments while sitting in wheelchairs. So you can see how it would be greatly depressing.
Anyway that's what he was talking about, his own personal great depression caused by watching Eleanor and the Betsies.

Yup, Biden isn't that smart and he's got a third rate college education, but that's good. Obama is the smart one. Biden plays the Scrappy Kid from Scranton card. Considering that Republicans have been calling him condescending and elitist, it's a blessing in disguise. Uneducated people have to believe that they can make it to the top just by being themselves.

The thing is Biden is actually smart, he's just a sloppy speaker. This is like, politics, you know. Palin is not that smart, and has traditionally been a good speaker when she has plenty of time to prepare and has control of the discourse. These debates she proved to be REALLY CREEPY.

Yes I did. A winner is not necessary for these debates. Biden just had to hold his ground and neither of them had to fuck up too much. The bridge to nowhere jibe was a good one, but I don't think much happened. The next presidential debates will be more important.
